Special Agent Tae Kim (Sung Kang) is a main character in the Fox series Gang Related, and a member of the Elite Gang Task Force. He is the partner of Special Agent Veronica Dotsen.

Tae Kim is working for the Gang task force for the FBI; he is partnered with Veronica Dotsen. Tae Kim has a younger sister who is in a home under a fake name, and he is forced to pay ten thousand dollars in cash every month. Sooner into the season we see new details about his previous life come out. He's finger prints were used to trace him to a murder of a gang leader back in his home country.
